For Sunday afternoon we have a film shot by Slawek Paćko, on the wreck of the steamer S/S Belliver. On 8 September 1911 the vessel was on her way back with a cargo of timber from Pori in Finland to Plymouth in her native England. Unfortunately she never arrived at her destination.

S/S Belliver was built in 1903 in the English shipyard of W. Harkess & Son in Middlesbrough. She was a 58m long and 9m wide boat. After her disappearance at the beginning of the 20th century, she was found only after almost 100 years. This was done by accident by a group of divers while searching for the Soviet submarine S-2.

The wreck settled vertically on her keel, at a depth of 27-34m. The first thing that strikes the eye is the number of well-preserved pieces of equipment from the S/S Belliver. The visibility on the wreck varies between 5-15m.
