Diving in the old mine Tąpadła

Among the diving fraternity, there is a huge diversity. It concerns everything, from motivation, which drives a diver to act, through equipment, to types of diving, which give him the greatest pleasure and satisfaction. Some people like fish, others like wrecks, and still others… well, there is a group of divers, who have something pushing them into the unknown. They want to explore places difficult to access, preferably such, where no one has been before, and if someone has been, it was a long time ago.

Today we have for you footage recorded by experienced diver Konrad Dubiel. The whole was recorded in Lower Silesia, in an inactive chrome ore mine under the peak of Czernica – Tąpadła.

According to surviving documents, the mine was owned by the Krupp concern and operated from 1890 to 1910 and during World War II from 1941 to 1943. Today only part of the mine is accessible, but from the point of view of a technical diver who likes to have a ceiling above his head, it is quite attractive. Anyway, the best way to present it to you is through the mentioned video material.
