In the net appeared a trailer of a very promising series of documentaries “Dark Waters”, realized by the U-Film group. The authors focus on the dark secrets of deep-sea wrecks in the Mediterranean Sea, and during the filming they use a lot of modern equipment.

The work on the production of the “Dark Waters” series is carried out by a group of professional researchers and experienced technical divers, who are supported by, among others, the Triton 3300/3 underwater vehicle, thanks to which they are able to obtain the best shots of wrecks lying at depths of up to 1000 metres, which is far beyond the reach of technical divers. They also use an ROV to film many nooks and crannies from a perspective they have never seen before.

The scientific value of the documentation being collected is priceless, especially when we consider that 2016 will mark 100 years since the sinking of the ‘Britannic’. It is the sister ship of the famous “Titanic” that will form the core of the U-Film team’s entire project.

The footage has already been transferred from Greece to the studio, which will edit and edit it. The filmmakers themselves can’t wait to share the final product with everyone, which is said to be breathtaking.

Most of the shots will come from the waters surrounding Malta, bringing together all the episodes of the series into a story about Malta’s most famous shipwrecks.

From the previews we can expect many unique shots of the deepest wrecks in the Mediterranean, reconstructions of the events that led to their sinking, many previously unknown historical facts and stunning 3D visuals.

All that remains is to make room in the home video library and wait for the release of the “Dark Waters” series.
