Bluego: the 6th edition of the Freediver Rally 2015 in Dahab!

As every year the Bluego team is preparing another rally for women interested in freediving. On 9-12.09.2015 the 6th edition of this event will take place, which is becoming more and more popular every year. Unlike the previous 5 editions, which took place in the country, this time the trainings and workshops will take place in the waters of the Red Sea and on the beaches of the Egyptian Dahab.

The event is aimed at integrating and honing the skills of all ladies practising freediving, as well as those who just want to start their freediving adventure. The workshop, organised by Bluego, is an ideal opportunity to move from thinking and theory to practice.

“Dear Ladies!

This year, on the occasion of the 6th!!! edition of the Freediver Rally we would like to invite you to the blue of the Red Sea, to the climatic Dahab and the famous Blue Hole – a Mecca for freedivers from around the world!

This year’s Rally will take place in September and will last 4 days! Twice as long, the event is sure to appeal to you, especially as we have lots of activities planned for you all as part of the programme!”

– diving in the Blue Hole
– excursion to Ras Mohammed National Park and its tour during two diving sessions
– underwater fashion & fun photo shoot!
– laughter yoga
– Bedouin dinner combined with a yoga session in the nearby mountains
– sunset barbecue on the beach in the lagoon or local specialities prepared right out of the sea and served in an atmospheric local restaurant

And also a huge dose of freediving in its purest form:

– morning stretching and rebreathing sessions
– lectures on the most important and interesting aspects of breath-hold diving
– diving sessions in the beautiful, deep blue, surrounded by a coral reef with thousands of different, colourful creatures: Light House, Blue Hole, Bells.

“As every year, we invite all girls and ladies regardless of their level! Depending on your knowledge and skills we will assign you to the appropriate group:

Beginner group – we will start slowly with an introduction to freediving – first dry, then in the water up to your waist, and only when you are ready, we will try to go a little further… deeper. And all this under the watchful eye of experienced instructors.

Advanced group – first a short reminder and then a jump into the deep end! Rope-side diving sessions in warm, blue water with visibility of 30 metres are sure to strongly stimulate your siren reflexes.”
