Dry suit is a very important piece of equipment and a natural way of development for every diver, who is interested in diving in Poland, or in similar conditions. It’s no wonder, then, that the manufacturers of this type of equipment are very keen on the customer, constantly introducing new improvements and materials to make their product the best.
Last year, the SB System Dry Suit, weighing about 3.6 kg, was a very popular product from Bare. The combination of a special mixture of nylon and lycra made it possible to produce a three-layer material, which was used for the production of this suit. It provides very high freedom of movement and thus comfort to its owner.
The company, Bare, advertises its product as “the world’s first flexible, breathable dry diving suit” and strongly emphasises the comfort that the diver who uses it receives. The leading solution, apart from the unique combination of materials, is to be the eponymous SB System. It is a combination of 3 lightweight layers, which, among other things, is supposed to evaporate sweat before entering the water. Everyone who has had the opportunity to dive in a dry suit (especially in the summer), knows that on the surface, it can turn into a real oven.
This also translates into improving our thermal performance. By wicking sweat to the outside, we keep moisture away from our body, keeping it dry. We also don’t let it cool down too quickly and our dives can last longer or be more comfortable.
Another interesting new feature is the low profile lock – the Tizip Master Seal. As Bare assures, the lock is designed to be easily accessible and flexible. A well-tailored and fitted piece, combined with elasticity, is supposed to give the owner of the suit unlimited freedom of movement. Irretrievably gone are the days when a diver in a drysuit, without the help of a boat attendant or buddy, would not be able to perform many activities.
The manufacturer is so confident in his product that he has decided to offer a unique guarantee which covers all joints for a period of 30 years! and the material itself from which it is made for 2 years from the time of purchase. This is impressive and gives you much more peace of mind to spend more than 6000PLN on it.
If you decide on this model, your kit (apart from the suit itself) will include the following elements: braces, hood, bag, zipped pocket on the left leg, 3mm neoprene neckline, 2mm thick special collar with a special water drainage system, 4mm thick reinforced neoprene booties, reinforced patches on the knees and buttocks, and reinforced latex cuffs. The wetsuit is available in both men’s and women’s versions and comes in a wide range of sizes,
