Attack of the giant octopus
Listen to this article

Recently, we have been informing you quite often about divers taking on risky challenges. There have already been dives with sharks, anacondas or crocodiles. All of them can give every diver the creeps. Sometimes, however, creatures from which we would not expect an attack, can surprise us even more.

This was the case when diver Doug Pemberton was attacked by a giant octopus. Usually gentle around people and avoiding contact with them, this time for unknown reasons the creature attacked.

Wrapping the diver with its powerful arms, covered with suction cups, the octopus tried to drag its prey into the hideout. The situation was serious as, during the struggle, the animal tried to rip the mask off Doug’s face and rip the automaton from his mouth.

This should be a warning to all those who, while admiring the beauty of wild nature, cross a certain boundary. Being an intruder in the animal kingdom, we are exposed to unpleasant consequences. Fortunately, this time it ended in fear.
