The competition will be held in 3 competitions: CWT (Constant Weight), CNF (Constand Weight without fins) and FIM (Free Immersion). Each competition will take place on a different day.

In the CWT competition, the diver reaches a given depth and returns to the surface using either fins or a mono fin. In the CNF, on the other hand, you can only rely on your own muscle power, as the use of fins is prohibited. The same is true in the FIM, but here it is allowed to use the rope to reach a given depth and return from it. All dives will be recorded and verified with the Suunto D-series, a dive watch that records dive data.

Among the participants there will be some of the biggest names in the sport, such as William Trubridge – holder of world records in FIM and CNF competitions. Trubridge is the first person to have overcome 100m borderwithout any assistance. Earlier this year, William Trubridge was honoured with the WAFA (World’s Absolute Freediver Award). This was a summary of the achievements of the New Zealander who achieved the highest combined score ever in all 6 disciplines.

Another rider, Canadian Will Winram, who holds several records in FIM and CNF competitions, will certainly want to make his presence felt.

Ryuzo Shinomiya of Japan, the first Asian representative to reach the 100m mark, will also be competing for laurels. He also holds national and continental records in the FIM (104m) and CWT (115m) disciplines.

Among the ladies, the unrivalled tsarina of freediving will fight for more records – Natalia Molchanova. The best female athlete in the history of the discipline holds 30 world records! A special event will be the participation of her son Alexei in the competition.
