“Well, and after the dive =)

The whole thing with decompression took me only 3.5 hours. Behind the clamp I was over 45 minutes at an average depth of 73m

First I entered a corridor running at 70m exactly to the east, in the direction of The PIT. After tying up to the end of my handrail (Wojtek, sorry to use the word end of handrail on your forum ☺) I continued the swim. Unfortunately after about 60 m another clamp appeared, this time 1/3 tighter than TKM. Not possible to pass with my build ☹. I leave it for next year if I persevere with my draconian diet.

The next corridor I check also ends in a clamp. The last one I check is the one running at 100m. I don’t go down that deep, however, but I examine it with a 100w lamp and I can’t see the end !!!! and the dimensions are such that an elephant would pass through.

But this is no longer a job for a single CCR.

The return was, as usual, a boring decompression and a very exhausting dragging of all the bailout cylinders through the whole cave, and there were five of them. In the original plan I was supposed to pull them on a separate action, but I got the dates wrong and another course group for the full cave was arriving one day earlier than I thought.

However, I am very satisfied with these two days of exploration.

Firstly, they let go of all the corridors and the terminals encountered are just a matter of 6 months without beer, sweets, bread and potatoes. For the sake of the idea it can be done =)

Secondly, the deep corridor is a one hundred percent way into the cave, only that it will cost several hours of decompression. With proper reading on deco it is survivable.

Thirdly, my Sm CCR proved to be a perfect solution and did a great job. Reliable in the clamps, easy to control as a standard HH and practically based on cheap additional parts from Practicer.

And fourth, I met with Felipe, a nice Mexican who owns the Pet Cementary cenote and he liked my exploration plan very much. He offered me his help and free hospitality for the whole team when I continue the exploration next year.

Exactly, the plan for the future is to finish the dual SM CCR and together with the whole team come to Mexico for at least 2 weeks and finally get down to real exploration =)

I’m going back to school tomorrow and I’m looking forward to it because it will be a nice change from my lonely and stressful dives”
