We have already written about technical, wreck and cave diving. There are people who combine several of these fields and it is impossible to classify them into any of the categories. Below is a short bio of the following speakers. Leigh Bishop is a representative of wreck diving and photography, while Marcin Bramson is a specialist in technical diving, who uses his skills in cave expeditions.
Leigh Bishop is a renowned wreck diver and a pioneer in the use of gas mixtures during deep dives. He is also a keen underwater photographer. He started diving at the age of 21 and gradually progressed into technical diving.
His explorations have led him to document and discover hundreds of wrecks. Over the last two decades he has been part of most of the major expeditions in search of wrecks, such as: HMHS “Britannic”, RMS “Lusitania”, RMS “Egypt “t, RMS “Transylvania” in the North Atlantic and “Wilhelm Gustloff” in the Baltic.
The photographs he took were published in many well-known travel and diving magazines. In the 1990′s he and his partner Chris Hutchison explored around 400 virgin wrecks. In 2008 he co-initiated the EUROTEK conference, which takes place every two years in Birmingham.
At Baltictech 2017 he will tell us about the expedition to the wreck of the legendary liner HMHS “Britannic”.
Marcin Bramson – diver with nearly 20 years of experience. Graduate of management, specialist in HSE and PPOŻ. He started his diving adventure in 1999. Three years later, he became interested in technical diving, and then in trimix diving. He is in love with caves and wrecks. Diving is his passion, which, thanks to his passion for passing on knowledge, he managed to combine with work.
Since 2012 he runs his own school Deep Adventure specializing in rebreather and technical training. During his trainings he shares with participants his own knowledge and experience gained during participation in various diving projects and in-depth knowledge of rebreathers.
He adheres to the principle that a true teacher should always be the most diligent student.
At Baltictech 2017, he will tell us about a Polish cave in the Yucatan – Box Ki Sin.
