Friday can be briefly described as a warm-up, a starter, a foretaste of what awaited the exhibitors and visitors on Saturday. It was an ideal day for people from the industry to settle various matters among themselves, look around all the stands, check out all the novelties, and at the same time calmly take care of the guests, who were in abundance that day, yet it could hardly be called crowds. We had to wait for those until Saturday.
The assault began in the early hours of the morning. Both the individual stands, the aisles and the rooms where Nurgres was held were under siege. Our stand, despite being manned by at least two people at any given time, was generating quite a queue. Our stand, despite being manned by a minimum of two people at any given time, generated quite a few queues. Galapagos Evolution.
Visitors to stand D24, had the unique opportunity to virtually dive into the waters of the Galapagos. All thanks to VR technology and glasses. There was, of course, no shortage of volunteers. So much so, that the virtual diving equipment could only rest when it was fully unloaded.

Another attraction that awaited the guests at our stand was the premiere issue of the quarterly DIVERS24. Our latest project is available from 1 March for free in the digital versionwhile at the fair it had its debut on a physical medium! Since then, the magazine is available in annual subscription and as a single issue. Reception? Exceeded our wildest expectations. A mass of positive reviews, comments and suggestions only reinforced our belief that it was worth putting a lot of work into this project. Of course, there were shortcomings, but we guarantee that the next issue will be even better!
The diving fair “Podwodna Przygoda”, of course, is not only our stand. In Warsaw, there was a huge representation of exhibitors from the diving industry. From manufacturers and representatives of diving equipment, through diving organisations, foundations to diving centres and bases, operating in the country and abroad. There was plenty to choose from and everything to feast your eyes on. Both the number of exhibitors, as well as the exhibition area were record-breaking this year.

Despite the large space, visitors had little problem creating a crowd. This is probably the best review for the second day of the fair. Everywhere we went it was difficult to find seats. Old friends, new friends, lots of conversations, classics and novelties. There was no shortage of anything. Nurgres was also very interesting.
The main attractions included a lecture by Tomasz Stachura on diving in Narvik on the wreck of the Polish vessel ORP “Grom” and the search for the lost vessel ORP “Orzeł”. A presentation by Cezary Abramowski, during which the film ‘Piwnice Diabła’ was shown, was also well received. As every year, the guests did not fail to attend two lectures given by Krzysztof Starnawski.
Sunday saw a significant drop in the number of visitors. It was noticeable that most people decided to come on Saturday, which, in view of the prepared attractions, looked the most interesting. For us, this was the time to have a cup of coffee with the other exhibitors to initially summarise what we had experienced during the weekend.
We must admit that it was good. Even very good. Of course, a big influence on my perception of the fair is the fact that as DIVERS24 we received a lot of praise and a lot of support for the work done on our quarterly. No less VIII Diving Fair “Podwodna Przygoda” left a very positive image in my memory. It seems to me that it was better, more and more interesting than during the past two editions, since the fair was moved from PKiN to halls EXPO XXI.
A big applause is therefore due to the organisers for what they have managed to create this year. Of course, there would be no such effect if it were not for the visitors. So kudos to you, my dears. I hope that you will not be disappointed next year! See you at the next opportunity!
