VI Zakrzówek Diving Conference and DemoDays 2014

We would like to invite you to the VI Diving Conference and DemoDays. The event will be held on 26-28 September 2014, traditionally the last weekend of September. This is one of the most popular diving events in the south of the country. Each edition attracts crowds of divers and representatives of the majority of diving brands available on the market to the Krakow water area. This is a great opportunity to stay up to date and test new equipment.

We start on Friday afternoon (18:00) with the first presentations under the shelter at the base.

On Saturday, enjoy diving workshops and evening presentations in the conference room of the nearby Symposium Hotel.

Workshops:

“Diving rescue (requirements for participants – minimum Rescue PADI degree or a similar degree from another organization)” – conducted by Maciej Curzydło – we will try to check how the rescue techniques are influenced by such equipment of our partner as sidemount, full harness, jacket, twin.

I also invite people who have a divemaster or are thinking about an instructor, you will be able to see how to practice such skills.

List of presentations for now:

17:00 – 18:00 “Freediving – mind, physiology, training ” – Mateusz Malina – world vice-champion in the freediving competition without fins (Free Immersion) and holder of most Polish records.
18:00 – 19:00 “Support and deep diving ” – Ela Benducka diver and technical instructor. Ela holds the depth record in women’s technical diving.
19:00 – 20:00 Paul and Paul’s Story about the Philippines
20:00 – 21:00 Marek from Katowice – Marek will show a film and tell about diving in the most top and at the same time very logistically difficult to access wreck paradise, i.e. the Bikini Atoll.

During the Conference there will also be the usual DemoDays on the water. On Saturday and Sunday it will be possible to borrow and test equipment from many manufacturers.

ECN – Bare, No Gravity, Oceania – Mares, Santi Diving, Shop4divers.eu – Light-For-Me, Technique Underwater, Vektorsport, XDeep

A “Treasure Hunt” competition will be held during the event. Plates will be hidden at the bottom of Zakrzówek to be exchanged for prizes donated by exhibitors.
