Unsinkable mat!

Unfortunately, nowhere do they state how the mat behaves if you were to lay your diving gear on it, then folded up, throw it on your back and jump into the water. Maybe it would be worth trying? We are waiting for photos and description of impressions from such application.

In any case, the Amazing Water Carpet is advertised for whole families, as an item that, once used, will forever remain in the basic camping equipment inventory. During a stay at the lake, of course.

According to the manufacturer, the mat can be laid out directly on the water (logical!), you can sit on it, lie down, walk or play, all without getting wet. From the pictures shown, it appears that it is not anchored or tied down, so you can’t fall asleep on it, because you could accidentally wake up at the other, unknown, end of the lake. If this were a lake the size of Sniardwy, we would have a problem.

In any case, it is a curiosity and for kids it looks like a great accessory to play with. However, the problem may be trying to swim, after jumping into the water, to the surface and ending up under the mat, but this is already a problem of responsibility of adults and watching over their kids.
