It is likely that the shell sank during tests conducted by the torpedo centre, which used to be located on this lake, Lake Miedwie. The people involved in the whole enterprise declare that on the subject of discoveriesThis is just the tip of the iceberg. In their opinion, the waters of the lake hold many more secrets connected with its wartime past.

After preliminary examination it is already known that the torpedo is in very good condition. There is a plan to retrieve it from the waters of Lake Miedwie and to conserve it and put it on display. This is why there is quiet talk of creating a special chamber of remembrance and a history trail to familiarise visitors with the history of this place.
