Underwater photographers and filmmakers rally Vis 2021

From 11 to 18 September 2021, the Croatian island of Vis will host the next Underwater Photographers and Filmmakers Rally.

Convention of Underwater Photographers and Filmmakers on the island of Vis is a periodic event, which attracts to Croatia people who want to develop their underwater passion. At the meeting, each participant will be able to broaden their knowledge and skills. Everything, of course, under the guidance of experienced photographers – Piotr Stós and Irena Stangierska.

Vis Island and Nautica Base

Vis is the most diving island in Croatia and offers great conditions. In addition to excellent visibility and warm water, wrecks, walls, caverns and archaeological sites are waiting for us. So, as you can see for yourself, the variety of dive sites is huge.

Thanks to the experience and facilities that Nautica base has, the participants of the rally can fully concentrate on photography and filming. All departures, dives and the rest of the logistics rest on the shoulders of the people who run the base. In case of any problems, participants can also count on technical assistance and timely filling of cylinders.

TheVis 2021 Underwater Photographers and Filmmakers Rally is also a great opportunity for real diving maniacs. If you don’t like it when your wetsuit is dry, you’ve come to the right place! At the rally, unlimited entries from the shore await you. During these dives, you have the opportunity to perfect your macro photography on gracefully posing octopuses and nudibranchs.

Workshops

Irena Stangierska’s workshop promises to be extremely interesting, during which you will learn more about better cooperation of the photographer-lighting-model team. Those interested in underwater panoramic photography will surely want to attend a lecture on the subject by Piotr Stós. After all, if you want to learn, only from the best!

TheVis 2021 Underwater Photographers and Filmmakers Rally, is also about discussing and analysing the photos taken and many talks. It is a great opportunity to share your experiences from expeditions and learn practical things from other participants. Not to mention new acquaintances and opportunities for further diving expeditions together.
