Until recently both Trzebnica and underwater hockey were little known in the underwater community. Trzebnica is a beautifully situated town, surrounded by hills and forests, strongly rooted in the history of Lower Silesia, boasting a modern Water Park and many attractions for active people.

The municipality, with its extremely pro-sport character, is completely open to any initiatives related to physical activity. Thanks to this attitude, the support of the municipality and the enthusiasm of the members of KHP Hydra, three years ago it was possible to organise the first underwater hockey tournament in Poland – Aqua Battle.

The name has become firmly established in the tournament calendar. Thanks to the enormous commitment of many people, every year the event is growing, hosting more and more fans and underwater hockey players from all over Poland.

This year we have a great pleasure to invite all fans and people interested in this still exotic sport in our country to Trzebnica’s water park “Zdrój” for the third edition of Aqua Battle Trzebnica 2014, which will take place on June 21.

During the tournament we are planning a number of additional attractions and the already traditional underwater video transmission. We are convinced that on that day everyone who visits the hospitable town, which Trzebnica certainly is, will have a chance to have a great time.

On the occasion of the first opening day of the outdoor pool, we are planning a mini fair and demonstrations of organisations and companies related to water activities. If you are planning diving training, looking for an interesting sport for yourself or your child, planning a holiday or want to try your hand at diving, make sure to visit our event!
