Three-dimensional wreck mapping - webinar

Enthusiasts of underwater discoveries, the submerged past, archaeology and underwater photogrammetry, i.e. creating images of wrecks and various archaeological sites in 3D technology, should certainly find a moment today to attend a webinar organised by DAN Poland.

“My webinar will be about my several-year adventure with underwater photogrammetry, a technique that uses photography to create photo-realistic 3D models of underwater objects, including wrecks. I will talk about how it came about that I got into it in the first place, what problems one has to reckon with if one intends to deal with it, I will present some of my early projects as well as some recent ones.”

Mariusz, who is an expert in the subject of photogrammetry, will talk about scanning an ancient wreck in Croatian waters. Our readers will certainly be familiar with this topic from the latest, 13th issue of DIVERS24 Magazine (you can find it below).
