It has been reported to us that there have been two separate instances where the outer casing of the Suunto wireless cylinder pressure gauge has been damaged during a standard surface pressure check. Although only two cases have been reported, there is a potential risk of injury to the user as a result of the device rupturing.
Diver safety is Suunto’s top priority. For this reason Suunto has decided to urge customers to return their Suunto wireless cylinder pressure gauges and Suunto Tank POD sensors.
All customers who have a Suunto wireless cylinder pressure gauge or Suunto Tank POD sensor, please bring them to your nearest authorized Suunto dealer or Suunto Service Center for inspection and upgrade.
