The Italian manufacturer of diving scooters – Suex, has announced the release of a new model – XJ VR. According to the information coming from the people associated with Suex, the latest device will have enough revolutionary solutions to become a new trend setter in this area of the diving industry.

Last night, Alessandro Fenu – creator of Suex – announced the arrival of the XJ VR model and presented its partial specification, which raised many questions but also hopes for a device that will prove to be a breakthrough among currently available scooters.

The new Suex is small, light, fast and has a lot of power. In addition, it will be optionally possible to equip it with a fast battery charging option, which will shorten the whole process to 3h! As assured by the manufacturer, this option makes the scooter an ideal model for use in dive equipment rental shops.

The XJ VR weighs in at 11kg excluding batteries and 16.5kg when ready to go underwater. The battery capacity allows for 100 min raid on full speed and 150 min run time on economy speed. The latest Suex has a 45%/100% power speed control, which the designers placed in the top part of the motor housing.

The speed of the scooter is 65m/min according to the manufacturer. The device has been specified with a depth limit of up to 100 metres. The XJ VR also features a carbon fibre propeller, which can be removed and replaced underwater.
