Popular dive photography equipment manufacturer Sea&Sea brand has released a new product in the form of a compact digital camera and dedicated underwater housing. The kit has already found its way into Sea&Sea’s range and is available for purchase as the DX-6G.

The new model also features the much-loved macro mode, which allows you to take pictures from as close as 1cm away from your subject without having to zoom in, which translates into the ability to zoom in on small subjects.

The Sea&Sea DX-6G also allows you to record high definition 264/30 fps video and can be connected to a TV using a standard HDMI cable.

The device has a special “Underwater Mode” that allows you to optimise your photos and videos by white balance, making colours appear more natural, also adding reds that are usually not visible in photos taken underwater.

The DX-6G’s dedicated housing allows it to dive to depths of 55 metres, far deeper than recreational limits. It is rugged, lightweight and extremely compact. The entire kit can be upgraded with a dedicated wide angle lens.

Price: €635
