The legendary American diving equipment manufacturer has presented its latest set of rebreathers. The combination of the brand new MK19 EVO first stage with the recently presented D420 second stage is to be a proposal addressed to the most demanding divers, who appreciate not only great technical parameters, but also unique design.

The MK19 EVO first stage is a completely new construction, designed especially for work in the most demanding environments and dedicated to cold waters. It somehow combines all the best features of the MK17 EVO and MK25 EVO automatics.

So here we find, among other things, the improved design known from the 17, as well as a fifth port and a rotating head from the 25, which users appreciate very much for the possibility of trouble-free disassembly of hoses.

So it couldn’t be more different, and the new flagship MK19 EVO kit has formed with the latest second stage from the Scubapro range, in the form of the extremely distinctive D420.

Partial specification

  • Stress-relieved diaphragm – guarantees a constant, effortless supply of air, independent of depth, cylinder gas pressure and respiratory rate
  • Isolated system – prevents the entry of cold and dirty water into the automat, protecting the internal mechanism from damage
  • Compact, lightweight body – the new design makes the MK19 EVO significantly smaller than its predecessor the MK19
  • New dry chamber – equipped with a double spring for reliability and reduced volume of the machine
  • Optional hose/transmitter mounting – two opposing HP ports allow the first stage to be positioned with the head up or down for optimum placement of hoses and/or transmitter
  • Swivel head – the swivel head has 4 LP ports and 1 Super HF output, guaranteeing maximum comfort for the entire set-up
