One of the youngest organisations to train and certify divers, RAID, has unveiled its new ‘Performance Diver’ diving course. The organisation is encouraging all its students to take up the challenge, while announcing that the training is very demanding, but not lacking in elements of fun.

The Performance Diver course is designed to enhance the student’s technical skills such as buoyancy. The training is designed to be a strong foundation at the beginning of your journey, whether you intend to be a recreational diver, technical diver or instructor.

The training is designed to take the student’s skills to a higher level. During the course the diver will be honing many useful skills including advanced buoyancy, mobility and the use of emergency procedures. Mastering the course material will make diving safer, easier and more enjoyable, whatever the circumstances.

The course can be taken in a recreational configuration, sidemount, twine or using a rebreather. Training can be conducted both in a pool and in open water. It is intended to improve the skills of the diver, regardless of the level of training. To take the course, the student must have completed the RAID Open Water 20 course or its equivalent.
