"Passions of life - we breathe underwater" - book about HSA divers now on sale

A much-anticipated book about disabled HSA divers, ‘Passions of Life – We Breathe Underwater’, has hit shop shelves.

Summer 2020. we announced a crowdfunding campaign, the aim of which was to publish the book “Passions of life – we breathe underwater”. This interesting item deals with disabled people who are in love with the underwater world and their passion is diving.

Today we report on the next chapter of the story, as the fundraising has been successful and the book has hit shop shelves.

Hi, I have written the first part of the book “Passions of life – we breathe underwater” – stories of HSA divers (divers with disabilities). These stories in my opinion are extraordinary and the People are extraordinary. And they are worth writing and reading about. It is worth knowing them. Even if only from the pages of the book and the photos in it. And maybe for some it will be an additional motivation? Not necessarily only to dive. To participate in the life of – wrote the author Joanna Pajdak-Subry.

This book, these stories are pieces of my life and the lives of people close to me, united by a common passion – diving – and enchanted by the underwater world. These stories are intertwined with each other or quite individual, showing great commitment, sometimes hard work, always a lot of emotion…

For many it sounds like an idea, a fancy, playing with dangers. For us: instructors, helpers, students, diving partners it is a common passion and joy. A break from everyday life, leaving behind the problems. On the shore. A rebound to life, to see yourself in a new light, to discover new possibilities.
