In addition to the revolutionary appearance, as the manufacturer assures us, we can also count on revolutionary solutions aimed at significantly improving the comfort of long-term diving in very low temperatures. Let’s take a closer look at this futuristic construction.

The main objectives of the designers were to provide the best possible protection from the cold and to minimise the effect of the warmer on buoyancy. This is ensured by compressed areas of insulation, located in areas most subject to cooling.

What’s unique about Fourth Element’s new product?

Compressed panels – Spacetek. Densely spaced on the insulator, they provide a permanent barrier against the cold as they are resistant to air compression. The result is that as soon as you enter the water, you can feel the warm 8mm layer of insulation enveloping you.

In areas particularly exposed to low temperatures (back and kidneys, buttocks, knees and forearms, where veins are exposed and at risk of chilling), the warmer has been fitted with additional layers of compressed insulation.

The whole is made of a single piece of fabric with additional insulating elements sewn onto it. In addition, the insulator has a two-way zip, a place for p-valve and a pocket for small items such as car keys.

All these measures make the warmer dedicated to dives where the lower temperature limit is -2ºC.
