The motto of Mikolajki with Flipper is “100 divers, 100 minutes, 100 bags…”. The idea is simple – to clean the harbour in Mikołajki, which is famous for the huge amount of “treasures” resting there. Everything that can be excavated will be taken to a rubbish dump and disposed of. Of course, bearing in mind the dives many people have made here on their own, there is a good chance for souvenirs – old bottles, flasks and other items of everyday use, resting in the harbour for many decades.

“The initiative has been maturing in us for several years, and it has matured. So this year we decided to clean up Mikołajskie Lake. The lake is characterized by mediocre transparency in the season and there is no shortage of boats, so the choice fell on December. We invite all divers and diving opponents, declared recreationists, trimmed DIR-ers, underwater killers and depth enthusiasts to participate in the fun. We also invite all non-divers. After all, you will have to free all those handles from all those bottles…

And not to mention those poor leeches…

Actually Santa Claus is on Friday 06.12 but to increase attendance we are meeting

will take place on 07.12.2013 at 10.00 am by the pedestrian bridge. We will provide bags for those willing to participate in the clean-up, and on the eve of the event, i.e. 06.12.2013, we will run the bottles in Giżycko free of charge. All participants will receive commemorative diplomas and logbook entries with a commemorative stamp.

On behalf of K.P.Płetwal I cordially invite you:-))

Sebastian Łepkowski”
