Malaysian boy stacked a 12-walled Rubik’s cube while holding his breath – video

Searching the farthest corners of the Internet, I came across a video showing a young Asian man laying a Megamix cube underwater while holding his breath! It takes him less than one and a half minutes to solve a very complicated puzzle!

Megamix is a 12-walled cube with 50 moving parts, based on the same principles as the Rubik’s Cube we know so well. In the attached vieo we can see how Anderson Kuey Wei Pin from Malaysia takes the cube under water and arranges it while holding his breath in 1 minute and 29 seconds!

As the young boy and author of the video claims, he is the first person in the world to have succeeded in this feat. The footage, as well as the attempt itself, was made at home, so there can be no talk of an official record, but there is certainly a lot of satisfaction and internet fame after such an impressive feat.

The video shows the boy fitting the pieces of the cube together with quick and efficient movements, arranging successive pieces of the dodecahedron. An ordinary Rubik’s Cube is a classic cube which poses problems for many, while the Megamix looks like an impossible task. And certainly not while holding your breath underwater…

We already held the record with the deepest classic Rubik’s cubeso maybe it’s time to raise the bar?
