This Saturday, October 19, the “Płetwal” Divers’ Club from Giżycko will once again organise cleaning of the Łuczański Channel. The event starts at 10.00 at the “tank” bridge, the first one from the Kisajno Lake side.

This year’s edition is co-organised by the Giżycko City Hall. The “Flippers” invite everyone to participate and help and assure that every pair of hands and flippers is welcome and will surely come in handy. There are plenty of “treasures” to be fished out, as the Łuczański Canal turns into a real motorway for all kinds of vessels in the summer season.

“As previous editions have shown, the divers work very hard, but the help of the ground team is invaluable and very important.”

The first 15 divers and the first 10 people who declare their active participation in the action at the coordinator will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
