ISSF – new Polish diving certification organisation!

The rash of organisations training divers in Poland is gaining momentum. Not so long ago, we were all in shock, because after the formation of the organization IDF. Let’s be honest, no one gave them a chance, and certainly not that they will publish manuals. However, they have got off to a difficult start, they are up and running and doing well. They also appear with their offer at diving fairs.

Less than a week ago we found out that the English RAID federation is entering Poland. At its helm in the country on the Vistula river is well-known in the environment Łukasz Piórewicz from the Centre for Research and Development in Gdynia. With the support of the headquarters and Paul Toomor will try to implement and develop the new organization on the market and attract more dive centres to cooperate.

An even week has passed since this information was announced and here is another surprise! Here we learn that the first steps in 2018 will also be taken by the Interantional Scuba Schools Federation – ISSF. From the information we have managed to obtain, it seems that the work on a new domestic organization training divers, has been going on for several months. Below is a quote from one of the founders:

[blockquote style=”2″]For the past few months work has been going on to create an organisation with the quality and safety of your training as its overriding objective. This is being worked on by a group of experienced dive instructors training in many well-known organisations. Our task is to use all the knowledge and experience gained to create training plans based on the realities of diving, without losing the fun. We inform you right away that – yes, we will definitely train recreationally and technically! If you would like to work with us…we welcome you![/blockquote]

Who is behind the ISSF:

Michał Winek
Jarek Kur
Adam Leslie
Tomasz Żabierek
Marcin “Chochor” Chochorowski
Leon Staniak
Krzysztof Smolinski
Adam Bieliński
Radosław Zajkowski

We are shaping up to have a very interesting 2018…
