Unfortunately, he came across a plastic straw stuck in his nostril. The retrieval operation was not easy or pleasant, especially for the turtle.

It is therefore worth thinking twice when we leave the “acquisitions” of civilisation in places where they are unnecessary. Even the smallest plastic trinket can bring mortal danger and unnecessary suffering to creatures inhabiting the world of wild animals.
