Gryf Baltic is a two-day event, during which there will be lectures conducted by well-known wreck divers and a picnic on the lake, accompanied by equipment tests. The conference will be held at the Dworski Hotel in Warzymice, near Szczecin.

On the first day 7 lectures are planned, which will last from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The lectures will mainly concern the Baltic wrecks and the Gulf of Gdansk. In addition, you will be able to hear about diving in caves, diving with sharks and solving back problems, which unfortunately often affect divers, carrying heavy equipment.

Lectures will be given by, among others:

Sławek Paćko – IANTD wreck diver and NACD cave diver. Co-owner of the company “Technika Podwodna”. He makes underwater films with special focus on wrecks of the Baltic Sea. Specialises in filming at great depths, in demanding lighting conditions. Author of more than 100 underwater films. Some of them were used in television documentaries.

Łukasz Piórewicz – Co-owner of the family company Diving Technique Centre in Gdynia – the first diving centre in the Tri-City. The first technical diving instructor in the Tri-City. The first instructor of IANTD and UTD organisations in Poland. Member of the Baltic Wreck Society.
Tomasz Stachura – Owner of Santi company. Participant of two expeditions to the wreck of the “Sea Horse” and organizer of expeditions to the wreck of the aircraft carrier “Graf Zeppelin”.

Witold Smiłowski – PADI Course Director, DAN coordinator responsible for DAN training on the Polish market. He conducts not only courses for the instructor levels, but also for the Instructor Trainer level. He is one of the few who managed to keep his Platinum Director status for 3 years in a row. In May 2008 at another IDC he trained his 1000th instructor.

Jarosław Kur – IANTD cave and technical instructor, speleologist, professional diver currently working on the deepest Polish projects in commercial diving. Doctoral student at the Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences.

The first day will be followed by a prize draw and a banquet.

On the second day in Ińsk, from 10 a.m. onwards, equipment tests will be held by such companies as Yellow Diving, Tecline, Dirzone and Santi. It will also be possible to test scooters of the following companies: Bonex, Dive Xtras, Suex, Halcyon and Submarge.
At the end of the event there will be a bonfire, sausage roasting and mulled wine.

The pre-sale cost of the event is: 50zł + 50zł banquet. On the day of the event costs are: 70zł + 70zł banquet.

12:00 – 13:00 – Witold Smiłowski – The killer shark or the victim.
13:00 – 14:00 – Lunch break.
14:00 – 15:00 – Sławek Paćko – Film lecture on caves in Mexico Cenotes-Yucatan
15:00 – 16:00 – Jarek Kur – Diving in hard-to-reach caves.
16:00 – 17:00 – Krzysiek Wnorowski – Wrecks of the Gdansk Bay
17:00 – 18:00 – Robert Narolewski – Problems with the spine
18:00 – 19:00 – Free time
19:30 – Prize drawing
20:00 – Banquet
