Those who want to find attractive diving areas a bit closer to Poland, should pay more attention to Greece. This island country boasts not only a beautiful coastline, but also excellent conditions for water sports.

Mykonos
Mykonos is one of the newer offers, which Rainbow Tours presents to people who want to spend great holidays in Greece. Is it worth to bet on it? This is one of the most interesting islands in the Aegean Sea, and also one of the most beautiful islands in the Cyclades. Tourists will find many attractions here. Beautiful beaches and sensational development, resulting from the development of tourism here for many years, are not the only advantages of this island. Mykonos can enchant us with wonderful attractions and monuments, among which stand out so-called Little Venice, the famous Armenistis lighthouse and beautiful windmills, dating mainly from the sixteenth century. On this island you can also meet pelicans, which have become the unofficial mascots of this place. Many attractions are also waiting for diving enthusiasts. With them in mind, numerous training centres and equipment rentals were established here. Thanks to them, everyone has a chance to see for themselves the beauty of the underwater world, with which Mykonos has long been associated.

Corfu
Corfu is one of the most popular Greek Islands, which results in an excellent development and a wide range of active holidays. This mountainous island, surrounded by the waters of the Ionian Sea, is also known for its many wonderful monuments. The most interesting ones can be seen in Corfu Town. The old and new fortress, the temple of Artemis – these are the attractions that are highly appreciated by tourists from all over the world. Corfu also attracts those tourists for whom the ideal way to spend free time is practising water sports. Diving is one of the water sports that are very popular here. There is no shortage of offices and centres that deal with both teaching the basics of this discipline and organising underwater excursions. Their aim is not only beautiful reefs, but also caves and wrecks.

Chalkidiki Peninsula
This is a popular holiday destination in Greece, and there are many fashionable resorts and well-known water sports centres. For those who prefer underwater adventures, a trip to the area around Cape Athos or a holiday in the Cape Kassandra area may be a good option. In the area of this peninsula you can also enjoy other attractions. A unique curiosity here is Athos, part of which is an autonomous republic. It is inhabited exclusively by Orthodox monks, who occupy centuries-old monasteries. Their visit is possible only for the chosen ones, and that after fulfilling the obligatory, quite numerous formalities. Most tourists, therefore, admire these unusual buildings from the decks of cruise ships, which sail very often on tourist cruises along the coast of the most intriguing corner of Greece.

There is no danger of boredom for lovers of diving in the Greek islands. Interesting attractions are waiting for them both on the surface and at the bottom of the sea. Here everyone can experience a great adventure and spend time in a very interesting way, combining water sports with sightseeing.
