You all surely remember the part of the adventures of Agent 007 where the field of his activities is the underwater depths. In “Operation Thunderball” (Thunderball) Sean Connery tries to save Miami and the whole world from the threat posed by the powerful terrorist Emiliano Largo.

For me personally, this part of the Bond series is most memorable because of the underwater flavours. Made in 1965, it had its Polish premiere only in 1980, which did not prevent it from bringing a breath of fresh air and modernity. Apart from basic diving equipment, there are underwater scooters armed with crossbows and all sorts of gadgets that allow Bond to gain an advantage over his opponent.

All right, but why am I even writing about this? Ha! There is only one reason, the next part of the adventures of agent 007 – “Sky Fall” – will soon hit the cinemas. The most interesting thing about it is that the authors decided to use again the diving climate and a few action scenes take place under water!
