Last weekend a diving accident occurred on Lake Hancza which resulted in the death of a 60-year-old man.
Local media reported that last Sunday, 26 June, a fatal diving accident occurred on Lake Hancza. The incident occurred at around 6 p.m. A 60-year-old A man emerged from the water and collapsed. Unfortunately, despite a rapid rescue operation and providing him with first aid, the man died.
The whole situation happened near the first car park. The accident victim was described as a 60-year-old recreational diver who was diving in a wet suit. The man collapsed after coming out of the water and was resuscitated a short while later by persons qualified to do so. Unfortunately, without success.
As always in such situations, the causes and course of the accident are being investigated and explained by the local police in cooperation with the prosecution.
