Diversnight is an event that takes place every year, every first Saturday in November. The main aim is to dive together at night, and the time of entering the water is set by the calendar. In 2020, it was It is 8.20 p.m. local time for each of the registered dives, and this year it will be 8.21 p.m. The creators of the event have therefore ensured that for the next few centuries the tradition can be maintained.

The very idea of Diversnight was born in Norway, and the first edition in 2005 gathered as many as 351 divers. Since then, new countries have systematically joined the event, and in the record-breaking year of 2012, 231 diving sites were registered from 25 countries, where divers could participate in the event.

Although almost 10 years have passed since the record-breaking year, it has still not been possible to beat the result set then. However, this does not mean that the event has ceased to enjoy popularity. No, it doesn’t! Because every year night diving still gathers divers from more than 20 countries, whose number usually oscillates around 1700 participants.

Who knows? Maybe a new record will be set this year? From the available information we know that diving groups from all over the world, including Poland, are preparing to participate. Therefore, if you would like to take part in the night diving and make your contribution to the next stage of Diversnight, there is nothing easier. Just use the search engine placed on the official website of the event.
