During the exploration of Lake Atitlan, in southwestern Guatemala, divers came across pottery belonging to the ancient Maya. The oldest objects found, were made 200-300 BC which means they are over 2000 years old!

The individual pieces found have different sizes and shapes. On their surface you can still see small decorations and, what is most amazing, colours! The find was taken to the Museo Lacustre Lago de Atitlan, where it is currently being conserved.
