So far it has been established that the victim of the tragic dive was known for his love of searching for militaria. It all started on Saturday evening with a phone call to the police station in Młynary. The victim’s wife reported a missing man who went for a weekend dive in Pasleka and did not return.

The police began their search in Olkowo, in the municipality of Godkowo. It was there that they managed to locate the missing man’s car, which he had used to go diving. Not much later, uniformed officers located the man’s body.

In the course of the investigations, the investigators assumed that the most probable version was the explosion of the explosive device the victim had come across underwater. This hypothesis was confirmed by a metal detector found at the scene of the tragedy and other equipment useful in searching for buried relics from the past.
