Clean up the World Poland - GEPN invites you to Zielonka!

We would like to invite you to take part in another Clean up the World Poland campaign, which will take place on 16 September in Zielonka near Warsaw. The plan is to clean up the bottom, shoreline and green areas surrounding the popular Zielonka mudflats. The organisers invite all divers from Warsaw and the surrounding area, as well as non-divers – any help is welcome. The action has already been joined by anglers from PZW Zielonka, as well as the Zielonka Town Hall and the residents of this green town.

Saturday 16 September, start at 11am in the car park here – After a briefing and breakdown for the start of the action.

Framework plan of the event:
10:30 – collection of divers
11:00 – collection of participants / start of registration
11:15 – official welcome / briefing / division into groups
11:30 – Start of clean up / clarification of diving equipment
13:00 – official summary of the clean-up

About the clay pits:
Maximum depth 3-4 metres. In spring 2013 there was visibility of up to 8 metres in one of the clays. Today it is a little worse. Beautiful littoral, countless crayfish and only 20 km from the centre of Warsaw.
