The new Avatar drysuit was created using an innovative and breathable four-layer nylon material with membrane properties. The whole thing is extremely light, but despite its little weight – only 4 kg also very damage-resistant. In addition, the suit has reinforcements in the key areas.

The light weight together with the cut create the perfect combination for all divers who like to travel with their drysuit. The Avatar can be rolled up to a small volume and will not take up too many kilos and space from the luggage limit available on the plane. This is undoubtedly one of the key features transferred from the previous model, which did a fantastic job as a companion on diving trips.

Fabric

Innovative, breathable, four-layer 260 g/m2 Oxford Nylon membrane material offers vapor-permeability and waterproofness. Airon model takes it a step further by using thicker Cordura Nylon Oxford fabric on its top layer, offering increased wear resistance while maintaining the fabric’s innovative breathability.

Specifications of the drysuit

  • Advanced ergonomic cut that eliminates cross construction under the arms and in the crotch, providing unmatched mobility and protection from seam breakage
  • Telescopic torso design for full range of motion underwater
  • Original inner orange suspenders with logo and crotch strap for proper fit of the drysuit over the body
  • Waterproof front zipper with protective flap made of suit fabric – Additional reinforcements on knees and elbows and specially designed crotch patch to increase durability and prevent abrasion in these areas
  • Reinforcements on knees, crotch, elbows and buttocks with 280 g/m2 fabric
  • Two large and deep technical pockets with bungee loops and additional pockets made of trilaminated fabric for increased durability. The left pocket is made of trilaminate with Cordura in orange. Pockets ideally suited for opening with dry gloves
  • Comfortable and flexible waterproof neoprene boots
  • Apeks valves
  • Smart Seals system in the sleeves with latex cuffs

Finishing

The designers gave the Avatar Airon 102 drytsuit a steel color scheme with orange accents and original inscriptions and sublimations. As the release says: the suit’s design emphasizes a modern approach to diving and equipment in which you can look good. In turn, the energetic orange color helps to increase the user’s visibility while diving. The orange pocket is perfectly visible from a distance, both underwater and on the surface. It provides an ideal element of recognition and increases the safety of the diver.

Sealing

The latex seal is shielded by a neoprene warmer, which also overlaps the neoprene hood collar.

Functional

Comprehensive range of features in a full, technical drysuit configuration: telescopic torso, two technical pockets, slim fit and good air mobility.

Accessories

The Avatar Airon comes with a large waterproof and very practical travel bag with straps for easier transportation. It also comes with a neoprene hood, hose and silicone lubricant for the zipper.

The Avatar Airon 102 is available in a 12 standard sizes for men. A ladies’ version will also be available in the near future.

It is also worth noting that with the arrival of the new Avatar, the brand’s official website and image have also been given a new look.
