In the last quarter of this year, several interesting and long-awaited diving items appeared on the book market. One of them is the album “AntArctic. Podwodne Zauroczenie’ by Bartosz Stróżyński. The book went on sale on 22 October and, as the publisher assures, is available in all good bookshops. And as I personally assure, the purchaser of the above will certainly not be disappointed.
There are still places in the world to which very few people have access. The beautiful, wild, fascinating and frosty expanses of the Arctic and Antarctic can certainly be counted among them. Especially if we are talking about places hidden under Arctic waters. This makes the journey that our fellow countryman Bartosz Stróżyński is taking us on all the more valuable.
Antarctica is mainly associated with vast expanses of snow and ice and, in most people’s imaginations, is home only to polar bears. Nothing could be further from the truth! Hidden in the icy waters, the organisms captured by Bartosz’s lens delight the reader and create a completely new image of the Arctic. This seemingly unfriendly land, where all life is limited to a minimum, surprises with its richness, colours and diversity.
Apart from sensational and unique photographs adorning subsequent pages of the album, we will find here a wonderful story about an incredible place and the bond between man and nature. It took the author 5 long years of passion and devotion to complete the materials for the book!
During this time, Bartosz Stróżyński covered over 120,000 km, spent dozens of hours underwater and took nearly 35,000 photographs, showing beautiful and extremely rare views, reserved only for those who decided to venture into these frosty intervals.
“AntArctic. Underwater enchantment” is a sensational position for everyone who, like the author, loves the underwater world and its inhabitants. You will find here amazing, often unique shots, passion, adventure and the fragile beauty of the wild world.
“I would like to share with you a story about my fascination with diving, adventure, searching for a new way of life, but most of all – about my passion for photography in distant, inaccessible places, in extremely difficult and harsh conditions. I share the effect of five years of work, travelling a hundred and twenty thousand kilometres, dozens of hours spent in the least friendly waters of our planet, thirty five thousand photographs taken in close contact with the most fascinating and rare species of animals. I invite you to the bookshops, I wish you a pleasant reading and I invite you to like my website.
Best regards,
Bartosz Stróżyński”
The author is a diver, photographer and traveller who pursues his passions by travelling to the most inaccessible places on earth to participate in the lives of the animals that inhabit them. Thanks to his sensitivity and extraordinary skills, he offers his readers a truly magnificent work in which, among words and pictures, he has managed to capture a piece of an amazing world.
Please note that the publisher has donated 1 copy of this wonderful album for our readers.
