Underwater Archaeology Expedition The Institute of Archaeology of the University of Warsaw and The Explorers Club – Polish Branch invite you to a special lecture by Dr Young-Hwa Jung from the National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage, Republic of Korea.

The lecture, entitled “Laws and Policies for the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage in Korea. 40 Years of Korean Underwater Archaeology”, will deal with the most important and recent underwater research carried out in Korea with particular emphasis on the wrecks of the “Silk Road”.

The meeting will take place on Sunday, 20 October 2019, at 12.30 p.m., in the Column Hall of the UW Faculty of History (Pomuzeal Building – opposite the UW Institute of Archaeology).
