As much as diving in itself is an amazing adventure, it is also worth taking care of the place where we go under water. There are places in the world, which are forever memorable and each of us should see them at least once. We present the top 5 destinations that deserve appreciation by providing amazing experiences.

Where to dive? Choose Australia

On land, kangaroos, and underwater – the world’s largest coral reef, which can be seen even from space. It goes without saying that this is a real paradise for lovers of underwater experiences. Being there you can dive into it endlessly, and the memories stay for a lifetime. Great Barrier Reef is 2300 km long and 350 000 sq m in area, consisting of 3000 thousand smaller reefs in duet with islets, which are inhabited by the most exotic species of animals in the world. This fact alone makes Australia a magnet for even the most demanding diving enthusiasts. An undeniable flavour is also the fact that the reef found a place on the UNESCO list.

Best diving destinations – Indonesia

You think Indonesia, you say the largest island state on the world map. For years it has been on every diving enthusiast’s list, and for good reason. There really is a lot to choose from, with as many as 13,000 islands and islets between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. So you need a good diving cylinderbecause there really is somewhere to dive! Apart from amazing underwater experiences we can visit Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia or the Philippines, which will undoubtedly become the icing on the cake of our travels through Indonesia.

Where to dive abroad? Egypt

Coral reefs in Egypt are visible almost to the naked eye. When we go under the water discover their incredible potential, which can not pass by indifferently. Thrill-hungry amateurs of the view of amazing animals and plants will definitely not be bored here. Tropical coral reefs off the coast of the Red Sea captivate with their diversity and mysterious atmosphere. For many, this is a unique opportunity to experience an unforgettable encounter with the most unique species inhabiting the underwater world. In practice, this includes whale sharks or giant manta rays, which make a huge impression. However, the list of attractions does not end here. Diving in the Red Sea is also a real treat for history buffs – at its bottom there are many sunken shipwrecks, including some from the Second World War.

Best diving sites – Costa Rica

From North Africa we move to Central America, where breathtaking coral reefs off the coast of Costa Rica await all fans of diving. Although it’s not yet as popular as the previously mentioned destinations, it’s becoming more and more popular every year. No wonder – Costa Rica’s coral reefs impress with their rich marine life. There are many species of fish, molluscs and corals, which together create an unforgettable landscape that cannot be ignored. Their additional advantage is also a pleasant water temperature maintained throughout the year.

If you want to dive, go to Mexico

Directing our gaze to Mexico, the Yucatan peninsula is worth a closer look. There we can find limestone karst wells connected by groundwater system – Cenotes. They are an amazing reminder of the Mayan culture, who believed that they are the entrance to the underground world inhabited by spirits and demons. In addition to the crystal clear water, filtered through limestone rocks, we find breathtaking rock formations, which were carved by underwater rivers. Numerous tunnels, caves or stalagmites, among others, appear before our eyes.

As you can see, the underwater world is incredibly surprising, diverse and certainly hides many secrets for us to discover. By diving we have a chance to provide ourselves with incredible experiences and who knows what finds we have to prepare for!
