The Seven Turtles of the World - online presentation

This coming Monday, 8 June, everyone is invited to attend an online presentation entitled “The Seven Turtles of the World”, during which Ewelina Heil, marine biologist, oceanographer and diving instructor all in one, will talk about the fantastic animals that are sea turtles.

How many times during dives in warm waters have we hoped to meet these extraordinary creatures? Everyone who had the unquestionable pleasure to meet a turtle under water will always remember such an encounter and will long for the next opportunity.

However, let’s ask ourselves – what do I really know about sea turtles? Do I know enough? Or would it be a good idea to get some information from someone competent, so that you can better prepare for such an encounter and enjoy it to the full? There will soon be an opportunity to do so!

You are cordially invited to my online educational presentation about sea turtles on Monday 8 June 2020 at 7 p.m. I will talk about all the species, their occurrence and interesting facts about their lives, all illustrated with beautiful photos.

During the presentation we will learn, among other things

• Where the tortoise got its shell from
• Why turtles went into the water and why they come ashore
• How to recognise different turtle species
• What do turtles do when no one is watching
• What threatens turtles and how you can help them

Ewelina Heil marine biologist, oceanographer and diving instructor. For years, she has been educating children, teenagers and adults about creatures inhabiting the seas and oceans. Now, she is starting a new project of online education for divers and other enthusiasts of the underwater world.
