The long-awaited film The Rescue hits cinemas in October. The production takes a look behind the scenes and the course of an unprecedented rescue operation in a flooded Thai cave in 2018.

The memorable events that took place in the flooded Tham Luang c ave in Thailand form the axis of the action in The Rescue. In the summer of 2018, the eyes of the world were on an international cave rescue team. Experienced technical divers from around the world fought against time to save the lives of 12 teenage boys from a football team and their coach.

Documentary film The Rescue tells this incredible story from the perspective of a team of cave divers. The greatest experts in the field cave explorations from all over the world came to Thailand at that time. It was a testing hour during which they had to use all their knowledge and experience to save the lives of those trapped in the cave.

Hour after hour and day after day, people all over the world followed the rescue operation in Tham Luang cave. Media from all over the world sent their staff to cover everything that was happening on the spot. The web was flooded with reports and… media fuss.

The film The Rescue offers a different perspective on all the events. It is the story of divers who have dedicated their entire lives to perfecting their skills and gathering experience.
