Germany’s Dusseldorf is currently hosting the world’s biggest water sports trade show, Boot 2015, and of course the Divers24 representation couldn’t miss out on such a big event. Strolling between the various stands in search of news, it was with a heavy heart that we accepted the fact that our stay in Germany would only last 2 days.

For those who have not had the opportunity to attend previous editions of the Boot Fair in person, we must quickly mention that this is the largest event of its kind in Europe. It is here that the diving year begins. New equipment and “hits” prepared by manufacturers for the coming season appear.

Boot is a place where it is definitely worth appearing, no matter what link in the industry we are. On the one hand, it is a great opportunity to promote your products, on the other hand, it is a chance to spot new interesting brands to complement the offer of our shop/centre, as well as an opportunity to buy single items at very promotional fair prices.

Of course, the Boot Fair is only slightly focused on diving, but it is still difficult to find another such colossal event, where you can find a stand of every important brand and many of those who aspire to this name. As we have already mentioned, there is no better place to present new products than Düsseldorf.

Since the biggest diving trade show in Europe takes place in the country of our western neighbour, the leading Polish manufacturers could of course not be missing there. Their stands at Boot 2015 have as usual: Santi, Xdeep, Tecline and No Gravity. It’s a shame that there are so few of them, but it’s a solid representation that everyone in the world counts with.

Looking at the development of the above mentioned brands in recent years, it is hard to resist the impression that it is outside Poland that there is a real market for selling diving equipment. The Boot Fair, American DEMA, Russian Golden Dolphin and many others are a great opportunity to go out with your products on the world markets.

Marcin’s journey with diving has been an adventure. Starting as a recreational diver, he soon found himself drawn to the fascinating stories and mysteries of Baltic wrecks.
