The beginnings, the first fascinations and successes during the checking of subsequent locations, draw a picture of the path taken by the president of the “Shark” a long time ago. All these incredible adventures and discoveries would not have been possible without the information obtained, which was later verified underwater.

Jerzy Janukowicz took part in pulling out of the depths of history, among others, a caterpillar vehicle, aircraft or tanks. All this in his free time, pursuing his passion for diving and solving mysteries from the past.

Among the aforementioned finds, there was also the unique wreck of a German long-range reconnaissance aircraft – Junkers 188, excavated from Mamry Lake. Unfortunately, the 16-tonne colossus had already been condemned by the authorities to total annihilation before being excavated. As a result, it was transformed into more than 13 thousand pieces of cutlery, which were distributed in milk bars all over Poland.
