The choice of the water area was not accidental. Thanks to high water transparency, it is easier to observe divers and, consequently, to catch their mistakes faster. All soldiers who appeared at the training were experienced divers with min. 250 hours spent underwater.

Dive technique, dive reconnaissance, engineering reconnaissance and tactics were among the elements worked on. There was also a refresher on equipment configuration and the correct choice of equipment for specific tasks. Dives were conducted both during the day and at night.

“The equipment in the units, as well as the skills, differ slightly. Therefore, the soldiers are happy when they can train together. The advantage of such meetings is the exchange of experience. This affects the safety and quality of their tasks” – concluded one of the divers.

Among those training were divers from the 16th EOD Battalion from Nisko, 2nd Engineering Regiment from Inowrocław, 25th Command Battalion from Tomaszów Mazowiecki, 2nd EOD Regiment from Kazun, 3rd Road and Bridge Battalion from Chełmno as well as 3rd Engineering Battalion from Nisko.
