The panorama was assembled from hundreds of frames taken by Tomek during his research work on the wreck. The auctioned copy has a format of 99 x 68cm and so far it can be admired in the Santi Concept Store in Warsaw.

The sailing ship Mars was a true colossus of the Swedish fleet and its greatest pride. It inspired fear and respect among its enemies. It met its destiny only after a two-day battle with the combined fleets of Denmark and Lübeck. The clash was one of many during the so-called Seven Years’ War, which lasted from 1563 to 1570.

The wreck was found in 2011. in the waters surrounding Öland. A multinational search team led by Richard Lundgren. during the exploration came across magnificent cannons, many different types of silver and gold coins and a lot of interesting everyday objects.

Among this elite group there could be no place for a talented photographer with the appropriate training and diving experience. At a depth of 72m, Tomasz Stachura spent several days photographing the find, metre by metre, to create the auctioned shot from over 600 sequences.

If you like to surround yourself with unique objects, having an interesting history and the so-called soul, it is worth fighting for and trying your hand at auction. This is a unique opportunity to acquire this unique work of photographic art.
