Nuno Gomes, the world record holder in diving, will come to Poland from 14 to 20 November to promote his autobiography “Beyond the Blue”. “Beyond the Blue”
One man, two records, tens of thousands of hours spent underwater. A dive that is all about a perfect plan and the maximum humanly achievable depth. A dive that is the meaning of life. The biography of Nuna Gomes features some of the most interesting figures in the diving world – the matchless Sheck Exley, the tenacious Jim Bowden, the fearless John Bennett – but also excellent Polish divers, for whom participation in Nuna’s projects was the beginning of their own diving careers. The author’s narrative takes the reader to a South Africa struggling with AIDS and violence, to the once thriving dive centre of Dahab, and to the Lisbon of his childhood, allowing us to understand the path that led Nuna Gomes to set two world depth records.

The book will also be sold as a package with two diving films: “Coelacanth Divers” and “Boesmansgat 96”.

Nuno Gomes’ visit to Poland will include the following cities: Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Lodz and Torun.

Open meetings with authors will be held in each city, along with book signings.
