From the Amsterdam harbour, divers have unearthed a sunken… Ferrari! On 17 June 2020, divers of the Dutch fire brigade found at the bottom of the Amsterdam harbour a real automotive marvel – a Ferrari Mondial, model from 1987. Another dive to the wreck was made on 29 June, but due to a large amount of mud and sand it was not possible to examine or extract the car.

In such a situation, an operation was meticulously prepared to raise and retrieve the unusual wreck from the water. Then, on 9 July, divers prepared the wreck and shortly afterwards the Ferrari was back on the surface.

From the Amsterdam harbour, divers have unearthed a sunken… Ferrari! The fished-out car is currently being examined by the police. Investigators must now establish whether it was used to commit a crime. According to information given by a witness, the car was stolen many years ago.
