The diving community waited a long time for the possibility to go back under water and the change of regulations in this area prompted many of us to visit the local reservoirs. Unfortunately, not everyone’s first dive after a long break ended happily.
According to eyewitness accounts, the diver was pulled unconscious from the water at a point where the quarry drops to a depth of around 20 metres. Despite resuscitation efforts, the man could not be saved.
There is still no information about the causes of the accident, but the most common suggestion is heart problems. The exact course of events and the causes of the accident are now being established by the police and the prosecution.
