Diving Talks Portugal 2022 - preparations for the second edition have started! - video

After a successful first edition, the organisers of the Diving Talks Portugal diving congress are following suit and preparations for this year’s edition have already begun.

In the past two years many cyclical diving events have been cancelled or postponed. What is worse, it seems that some of them, despite their long tradition, have disappeared from the calendar for good. In contrast to this trend is the Diving Talks Portugal diving congress.

The first edition of this major international event took place in October 2021. Strong interest from the diving community The success of the event left the organisers with no choice but to follow up. Therefore, already at the beginning of the year, they announced the date of the next edition and gave the names of the first speakers.

The creators of Diving Talks have scheduled this year’s event for the second weekend in October (7-9). They have also made public the names of the first confirmed speakers. Among them are Stefan Panis, Tomasz Stachura, Gareth Lock, Leigh Bishop, Simon Mitchell, Bill Stone and Xavier Meniscus. Further speakers will probably be announced soon. Looking back at last year’s edition, we can expect many interesting lectures.

Diving Talks Portugalis an international event that aims to promote and share knowledge about dives i underwater world. The event will take place in Portugal, from 7-9 October. The congress will bring together leading divers, explorers, scientists and researchers, from around the world to present their latest achievements.

The entire event is divided into eight panels, which will feature lectures, discussions and debates. Based on previous edition Diving Talks Portugal, this year the organisers are expecting over 450 guests from all over the world.
